Ernest “Ernie” Peo Jr., 84, died Nov. 10 in Lincoln.
Peo was born April 21, 1925 in Watertown, N.Y., to Ernest Sr. and Mattie (Oney) Peo. He joined the animal science faculty at the University of Nebraska as a professor in 1956 and remained with that department until his 1988 retirement.
