A brown bag series exploring all things outdoors opens with a noon, June 5 presentation in Keim Hall, room 150. The free talk, “Wildflowers that Knock Our Socks Off,” will be led by Bob Henrickson of the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum.
Each presentation is offered at noon and repeated at 6 p.m. the same day in the same room. The sessions will include time for discussion and, weather permitting, walks through the campus landscape.
Future topics and dates include: “Waterwise Tips and Tricks,” July 10; “Trees and Shrubs that Survive the Heat,” Aug. 7; and “Community Crops and Organic Gardening,” Sept. 4.
