New state statutes change Firefly scholarship site
Oct 14th, 2009 | By admin | Category: Employee News, Issue, October 15, 2009Due to revisions within Nebraska State Statues, University of Nebraska employees will notice a change to the Employee and Dependent Scholarship application within Firefly. Each time the application is accessed, a United States Citizenship Attestation Form asks for validation that individuals are a United States citizen or a qualified alien under the Federal Immigration and Nationality Act. Only individuals who are U.S. citizens or qualified aliens can move forward and allocate credit hours.
The validation request began Sept. 27.
