The School of Music choral ensembles will perform Randall Thompson’s “Peaceable Kingdom” at 3 p.m., April 25 in Kimball Recital Hall.

“Peaceable Kingdom” is a sequence of a capella choruses based on selected texts from the book of Isaiah and inspired by the painting by Edward Hicks. The performance includes the University Women’s Chorale and the Varsity Men’s Chorus.
The second part of the concert features the City and East campus choirs performing selected works, including John Rutter’s “Requiem.”

Tickets — $5 general admission, and $3 for students and seniors — will be available at the door approximately one hour before the concert. For more information go to www.unl.edu/music or call 472-6865.
