Book designs on display this month
The University of Nebraska Press invites the public to attend the annual Association of American Presses Book, Jacket, and Journal show from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays from Jan. 6-19 at the Press' offices on the third floor at 233 N. 8th St.
The Press will host a reception at 3 p.m. Jan. 13, during which its designers will be on hand to discuss the various aspects of book design. The show and reception are free and open to the public.
The exhibit will display 42 books, one journal, and 24 jackets selected by a panel of designers as the finest examples of publication design from the scholarly community across the country. These will include winners from the University of Nebraska Press.
