PeopleAdmin training offered each Thursday

UNL launched PeopleAdmin on Feb. 1. This is a cooperative venture through the Offices of Academic Affairs, Equity Access and Diversity, Human Resources and IANR. PeopleAdmin is a web-based employment application and requisition system developed by PeopleAdmin. The new system replaces paper applications, resumes, requisitions and job announcements with a user-friendly electronic format.

This new system enables applicants to view job announcement information on-line at any time. It also allows job seekers to submit applications, resumes, vitas and other attachments electronically for UNL position openings. Applicants can establish and maintain a password-protected user account to maintain an on-line employment application, to create and save multiple resume formats, and to track the status of positions for which they have applied.

The PeopleAdmin recruitment program also enables UNL staff and search committee members to view applicant documents electronically. It includes a module that streamlines the gathering, reporting and retention of search and selection information.

Training on the system is conducted from 2 to 4 p.m. every Thursday in Room 408 Canfield Administration Building. Because space is limited, trainees are asked to signup through "SLUGO." Personnel responsible for recruitment of staff and faculty position openings are encouraged to attend this training. However, if this time does not accommodate your needs or you have questions, email Roshan Pajnigar at rpajnigar1@unl.edu or call 472-3101.
