Free at 6 features local blues musician

 Waller

Waller is one of the Midwest's finest blues artists. He has a passion for blues in its original form-the roots of the urban blues sound. He has performed a number of times in Lincoln's Zoo Bar and, although Waller plays primarily in the Midwest, he has also performed internationally in France and Jamaica.

Free at 6 was created to recognize and celebrate the rich range of artistic talent in the community and to open the doors of the Lied Center to a wider audience. Free at 6 programs, 45 minutes in length, will give local artists a venue to build support for their art while encouraging the participation of new audiences.

The remaining 2005-2006 Free at 6 events are: Jan. 20, Grupo Folklórico Sangre Azteca; Feb. 3, Gospel Mass Choir and March 27, Paul Haar.
