CAMPUS PRODUCTION - Rachael Miller as Mammy, Brent Jareske as Wiley, and Noel Yuri-Bermudez as Dog will perform in the UNL production of "Wiley and the Hairy Man" Jan. 26 to Feb. 4. Courtesy Photo/Doug Smith.

Performances will be in the Studio Theatre, third floor Temple Building.

Drawn from native folk wisdom, "outwit the Hairy Man three times and he won't scare you ever again," Wiley ventures through the mysterious swamp learning to rely on his own resources to conquer two villains: the Hairy Man and his own fear.

The production is directed by guest director, and UNL alum, Moira Mangiameli. The set is designed by Lina Okazaki, costumes by Ashley Evans, sound by Brooke Stevens (all undergraduates), and lighting is by graduate student Erik Vose.

Cast members are Brent Jareske as Wiley, Rachael Miller as Mammy, Jeremy Johnson as The Hairy Man, Noel Yuri-Bermudez as the Dog and ensemble Jesse Graff, Axel Arth, Naohiro Takahashi and Misty Madden. Jenny Schenck is the stage manager.

Tickets are available weekdays at the Lied Center for Performing Arts ticket office and one hour prior to performances in the Studio Theatre lobby. Tickets are $16, $14 for faculty/staff and senior citizens, and $10 for students with a valid NCard and all youth. Reservations are recommended.

The production will tour Nebraska in February and May. For more information on the tour, call 472-2072.
