"Black Angel" is set in a small village in France where Martin Engel, a former German Secret Service officer, has taken up residence.

Although war crimes officials are satisfied that Engel has paid his debt to society, local townspeople are not of the same mind. In the production, Engel's presence in the town becomes a growing irritant.

"Black Angel" showtimes are 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23-25, 10:30 Feb. 24 and 2 p.m. Feb. 26. Tickets are $5; reservations can be made at www.unl.edu/theatrix or by calling (402) 659-3579.
