Hurt book sale begins April 28

The Friends of the University of Nebraska Press will sponsor a hurt book sale 5 to 7 p.m. April 28 and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 29 at the press warehouse, 401 N. Ninth St.

A large selection of books on history, including the Lewis and Clark Expedition, the Civil War and western Americana; sports; science fiction; classic Nebraska authors such as Willa Cather, Mari Sandoz, John G. Neihardt, Wright Morris, and works by U.S. Poet Laureate Ted Kooser will be available for sale at reduced prices.

Featured in the sale will be titles from Bison Books. Paperbacks will be $2 each, hardcovers will be $4 each, or fill a bag for $12.
