Ross Theatre shows experimental film

The Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center is showing "Drawing Restraint 9" through Oct. 12.

"Drawing Restraint 9" is a highly experimental film by Matthew Barney. The soundtrack is by Bjork.

The film takes place mostly on the Nisshin Maru, a Japanese whaling ship in Nagasaki Bay. It follows Barney and Bjork as they are welcomed on the ship as guests who undergo preparations for a traditional Shinto wedding ceremony. For more information, go online to www.theross.org or call 472-5353.
