The Ghormley collection contains more than 200 doll quilts made between 1800 and 1950. Collected over a 40-year period from all over the United States, it is one of only a few such quilt collections in the world.

Ghormley will share her knowledge in a lecture at 3:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at the museum. This lecture is part of the Paul A. Olson Seminars in Great Plains Studies series. The lecture will be followed by a reception and gallery talk.
