From the Archives - Panoramic Campus

Pictured is a panoramic view of the main entrance to the University of Nebraska as printed on a postcard. The card was postmarked Nov. 11, 1910.

From information on the card, it was sent by Penelopy Pring to the chair of intercollegiates at the University of Wisconsin YWCA. Pring requested a photo of the Wisconsin campus because she was collecting images of university and college campuses for the NU recreation facilities for women.

Pictured (from left) is Architecture Hall (then called the Library), Physical Laboratory (now Brace Labs), University Hall, Grant Memorial Hall and the old Administration Building.

"From the Archives" is a regular feature of the Scarlet. Image provided by the University Archives. Submit items to tfedderson2@unl.edu or 472-8515.
