Fire burns quickly through the miniature prairie on East Campus as Ben Andrews, a senior animal science major, puts out a smaller fire along the perimeter. The controlled burn is conducted annually as part of the range ecosystems class taught by agronomy and horticulture professor James Stubbendieck.
