Rep season continues with two productions
UNL Theatres Nebraska Repertory Theatre continues its 37th season this month. Presented in rotating repertory are Anne Nelsons story surrounding the World Trade Center tragedy, The Guys, and Ken Ludwigs comedy Lend Me a Tenor. Both productions are in the Howell Theatre, first floor of the Temple Building.
The Guys features a writer and fire captain working together to eulogize the men from his company who were lost in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center. Lend Me a Tenor is an old-fashioned comedy starring David Landis, Ron Vigil, Benjamin Beck and Tammy Meneghini.
Performances of The Guys, directed by Jeffery Scott Elwell, are at 7:30 p.m. June 12, 16, 17 and at 9 p.m. June 15. Performances of Lend Me a Tenor, directed by Brant Pope, are at 7:30 p.m. June 10, 11, 18 and 19.
Tickets are $22; $19 faculty/staff and senior citizens and $12 student. Season tickets are available for $34 regular and $29 faculty/staff and senior citizens.
