Guest artists perform Oct. 3 The UNL School of Music will present guest artists David Carter, cello, and Esther Wang, piano, at 3 p.m. Oct. 3 at Kimball Recital Hall. The program includes the Sonata for Cello and Piano by Francis Poulenc, Sonata for Cello and Piano in D major, Op. 58 by Felix Mendelssohn, and the Suite #2 for Solo Cello by J.S. Bach and solo piano works. Carter is an associate professor of music at St. Olaf College. Wang performs and lectures on J.S. Bach's Well-Tempered Clavier as a member of The Bach Four. Tickets are $5, $3 for students and senior citizens at the door.
