Deer season is over. That means it's crunch time for scientists and student workers at UNL's Veterinary Diagnostic Center.

3rd 'report card' highlights progress
In its third annual "report card," UNL met and exceeded several self-imposed goals on student diversity and quality and increased research funding. The report card is the third "Indicators of Institutional Quality Annual Report," which measures outcomes as proposed in UNL's guideline for improvement, "A 2020 Vision."

Professor's art work in exhibition
"Doug Ross Retrospective: Painting, Sculpture and Drawing" opens Jan. 10 at the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. The exhibition continues through Feb. 4. An opening reception will be from 5-7 p.m. Jan. 14 at the gallery.
