Friends of Chamber Music presents Leipzig Quartet March 18

The Leipzig String Quartet will perform on the next Lincoln Friends of Chamber Music concert at 8 p.m. March 18 in the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery auditorium. Founded in 1988, the Leipzig String Quartet is now widely acclaimed as one of the most exciting string quartets on the international chamber music scene. The concert includes Mozart's "Dissonance" Quartet in C, K. 465, 12 Mikroludien (1977) by Kurtag and Beethoven's Quartet in E-flat, Op. 127.

Patrons can greet the members of the Leipzig String Quartet at a post-concert reception held in the Great Hall. Parking for those with special needs is available in the lot north of the Gallery.

Tickets are $27 for adults, $22 for cardholding members of NETRadio and $6 for students and may be purchased at the door. For information or advance tickets, call 435-5454.
