Sheldon hosts free family day The Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery is hosting Family Day from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. April 3. The afternoon allows families to learn through hands-on activities and take-home projects. The afternoon's activities will encourage children to use their creative minds in thinking about sculpture, paintings and architecture. Children will hear stories and read books about art creation and inspirational ideas. The projects show how to use different media and will allow the children to create take-home art including jewelry, prizes, paintings, clay faces and much more.
