Libraries take steps to curb plagiarism
The University Libraries has listened with interest to the growing discussion about academic dishonesty on the UNL campus and the need to address this issue. It is a serious problem and a number of years ago the libraries developed a unit devoted to plagiarism, copyright, and proper citation of information in our one-credit course titled Introduction to Library Research (LI110).

American Life in Poetry
EDITOR'S NOTE - This is a weekly column started by U.S. Poet Laureate and UNL visiting professor Ted Kooser, and supported by the Poetry Foundation and the Library of Congress. "American Life in Poetry" is aimed at promoting poetry and will feature a work by a contemporary U.S. poet and an introduction by Kooser.

Libraries acquire Kees, Helm sheet music collection
The UNL Libraries have purchased 233 pages of Weldon Kees' unpublished sheet music, lyrics and poetry that were for sale in Berkeley, Calif.

'Born Into Brothels,' 'Head-On' at Ross
Playing at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center is, "Born Into Brothels," a look at the transformative journey of a group of children in Calcutta's red-light district.

Theatrix produces 'The Illusion'
Theatrix, the student theatrical producing organization at UNL, completes the spring season with Tony Kushner's "The Illusion." Directed by undergraduate Jack Carpenter, performances are at 7:30 p.m. April 21, 22 and 23 with an additional performance at 10:30 p.m. on April 22 in the Studio Theatre, third floor Temple Building. Admission is $5 at the door only. Doors open half an hour before curtain.
