Faculty Dance Club to open new season Sept. 24

The Faculty Dance Club opens the 2005-06 season with a dinner and dance featuring the band Gold Dust, 6:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the East Union.

Club membership is reserved for anyone associated with an educational institution and their friends. Retirees and former educators are welcome. Membership responsibilities involve helping plan one dance per year. Membership fees are $80 for the full year and $50 for the semester.

Guests may attend one dance annually.

Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. with the dance to follow at 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

The club will hold seven other dances this season, all at the East Union. Those events and bands are: Oct. 22 - Step'N Out; Nov. 19 - Lightning Bugs; Dec. 10 - Greg Spevak Combo; Jan. 21 - Gold Dust; Feb. 11 - Greg Spevak Combo; March 11 - Lightning Bugs; and April 8 - Step'N Out.
