Transgender film festival Nov. 18

The Transgender Day of Remembrance Film Festival 2005 will be held from 4 to 10:30 p.m. Nov. 18 in the Nebraska Union Auditorium. An opening reading will given by Hilda Raz from her book, "Trans."

Five movies will be shown: "TransGenerantaion" (85 minutes); "TransAmazon" (41 minutes); "Leslie Feinburg's Outlaw" (26 minutes); "Kate Bornstein's Adventures in the Gender Trade" (40 minutes) and "Venus Boyz" (130 minutes).

The event is sponsored by Queer Student Alliance, UHC Sexuality Education eXchange and PERSUNL/ALLY Programs, The Women's Center and Planned Parenthood of Nebraska and Council Bluffs.
