Randolph reading, book signing is Feb. 22

Fiction writer Ladette Randolph will read from her new book, "This is Not the Tropics," (University of Wisconsin Press) 7 p.m. Feb. 22 in the Dudley Bailey Library, room 229, Andrews Hall.

Randolph is the editor of "A Different Plain: Contemporary Nebraska Fiction Writers" and associate director and executive editor at the University of Nebraska Press. She received the Rona Jaffe Award for emerging women writers and a Pushcart Prize for her story "Mercy."

The reading, which is sponsored by the UNL English Department and Creative Writing Program is free and open to the public. For further information, call Grace Bauer at 472-0993.
