Faculty artists open studios for fund raiser

The private studios of 12 Lincoln artists, including three UNL faculty members, will open to the public May 6 and 13 to raise funds for the Haydon Art Center.

Studios for Keith Jacobshagen (4041 Calvert St.) and Gail Kendall (3200 Van Dorn St.), both professors of art and art history, will be open 1 to 5 p.m. May 6. The studio of Dana Fritz, associate professor of art and art history, at 5600 A St., will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. May 13.

Other participating artists include Paula Day, Deon Bahr, Craig Roper and Sydney Lynch, Larry Gawel, Kate Brooke, Margaret Berry, Nadine McHenry, and Joey Lynch.

Tickets, good for May 6 and 13, are $25 for the general public, $20 for Haydon members and $5 for students. They can be purchased in advance at the Haydon Art Center, 335 N. 8th St., Suite A, or on-site the days of the tour.
