Prof, students aid Museum of the Odd opening

UNL educator Eddie Dominguez and sculpture students helped bring the Museum of the Odd to Lincoln.

Collector and artist Charlie Johnson is exhibiting a small portion of his Museum of the Odd at Haydon Art Center through Jan. 27. The exhibit includes assemblage boxes, displays and a room installation.

Dominguez, an associate professor in ceramics, and the students created a room in the gallery space, allowing Johnson to share the crowded style of the world he lives in.

Dominguez and Johnson will present the discussion, "Iconography of the Odd," at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Haydon Art Center, 335 N. Eighth St. A reception will follow.
