Grad student on Emeril Live Feb. 11

School of Music graduate student Jacob Thomas is scheduled to be on the Emeril Live TV show at 7 p.m. Feb. 11 on the Food Network, channel 58 on Time Warner Cable in Lincoln. The show will be broadcast again at 2 a.m. Feb. 12.

Thomas' recipe for Jake's Explosive Double Chocolate Chip Turtle Cheesecake won a national recipe contest through the Emeril show. Jeffrey Richmond, a doctoral of music arts student, composed the special piece, "Blues for Emeril" for the ensemble to play during the taping.

Thomas will also perform his master's recital at 3 p.m. Feb. 11 in 119 Westbrook. The performance is free and open to the public.
