Schaffert's third novel out May 15

Tim Schaffert's third novel, "Devils in the Sugar Shop," will be released May 15. Schaffert is a lecturer in creative writing at UNL.

In "Devils in the Sugar Shop," the lives of a failed erotic novelist, a hostess of prim sex-toy parties, an artist and a bookshop owner pursued by a demented if harmless stalker - all members of the artsy crowd in Omaha - collide one snowy winter evening, the week before Valentine's Day.

Schaffert is the award-winning author of "The Phantom Limbs of the Rollow Sisters" and "The Singing and Dancing Daughters of God."
