Miller performance Oct. 17

Tim Miller, a performance artist and gay activist, will perform his one-man show "Us" at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the Lied Center for Performing Arts' Johnny Carson Theater.

"Us" is a fast, funny and furious romp through Miller's love affair with Broadway musicals to an exploration of gay marriage and the issues gay men and women face in the United States.

Tickets are $22, half price for students with a valid NCard. For more information, go online to www.liedcenter.org.

While in Lincoln, Miller is also working with local individuals to create an original piece of performance theater. The piece will be performed for the public at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 19 in the Johnny Carson Theater. For more information, contact Laura Kendall at lkendall2@unl.edu or 472-4700.
