Repertory Theater hosts June 14 panel discussion
UNL's Nebraska Repertory Theatre presents "American Theatre: Present and Future," a panel discussion on the state of American theatre, 3 to 4:30 p.m. June 14 in the Temple Building, room 114. The event is free and open to the public.
The panel will be led by Robert Schanke of the University of Iowa. Other panel members are Tom Woldt (Simpson College), Kathy Privatt (Lawrence University), Susan Baer Collins (Omaha Community Playhouse), Bob Hall (Flatwater Shakespeare), Jennifer Hubbard of Louisville, Ky., (director of the Nebraska Repertory Theatre's production of "Doubt"), and Tice Miller (UNL).
The panel is part of a celebration of Miller's 36-year career at UNL.
A fundraiser for the Tice L. Miller Nebraska Repertory Theatre Scholarship is 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 14. Admission is $100 per person. For more information, contact Julie Hagemeier at jhagemeier1@unl.edu or 472-1619.
