Morrill Hall to unveil new exhibit

The University of Nebraska State Museum (Morrill Hall) will open a new permanent exhibit titled, Explore Evolution, on Sept. 10.

The exhibit was developed by a consortium of six partner museums, led by the NU State Museum. It also prominently features the work of two UNL scientists, virologist Charles Wood and geologist Sheri Fritz.

The project was made possible by a $2.8 million grant from the National Science Foundation.

Judy Diamond, a museum professor, is the principal investigator of the Explore Evolution grant project.

With the assistance of the Science Museum of Minnesota, Explore Evolution is opening at Morrill Hall and five other museums nationwide.
