Clay Club pottery sale is Dec. 8-9

The UNL Clay Club will hold its Winter Ceramics Sale Dec. 8-9 in Room 118 of Richards Hall. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 8, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 9.

The sale features ceramics work from UNL graduate, undergraduate and post-baccalaureate students. A wide range of functional pottery, vessels and small sculpture will be available for purchase.

Raffle tickets for a number of pottery pieces - including works from UNL faculty Gail Kendall and Pete Pinnell - will be available for purchase. The raffle drawing will be at 5 p.m. Dec. 9. Winners need not be present to win.

Seventy percent of the profits from the sale are given back to the individual artists. The remaining 30 percent of the profits go to the Clay Club to sponsor the visiting artists program.
