Medical premiums unchanged for full-time employees
For the second consecutive year, premiums for medical insurance in 2008 for full-time UNL faculty and staff will not increase - and in some cases will decrease.

Art and a Movie
Diana Breshears, a graduate student and instructor in communication studies, examines the Art-o-Mat Nov. 9 in the lobby of the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center. The vending machine is a retired cigarette dispenser converted to vend art. The Art-o-Mat machines were created by Clark Whittington and more than 90 machines are on display internationally. Items in the machine were created by artists from around the world. Whittington discussed the community art project with the Art in Community Class taught by Sandra Williams, associate professor in art and art history. Williams obtained a grant from the Woods Foundation to bring the machine to campus. The Art-o-Mat will be at the Ross through March. Photo by Troy Fedderson/University Communications.
