Ying Quartet to play March 28 at Sheldon

The Ying Quartet will perform at 3 p.m. March 30 at the Sheldon Museum of Art.

The quartet includes siblings Timothy, Janet, Phillip and David Ying. The quartet won the Naumburg Chamber Music Award in 1993, and is currently quartet in residence at the Eastman School of Music.

The quartet will play classical pieces by Haydn and Tchaikovsky. The quartet will also play selections from its most recent recording, "Dim Sum," a collection of short works by Chinese-American composers.

Tickets are $32 for adults and $8 for students. Members of NET Radio receive a $5 discount on adult tickets.
