Annual UNITE academic achievement powwow May 1
Apr 22nd, 2010 | By tfedderson2 | Category: April 22, 2010, Employee NewsThe University of Nebraska Inter-Tribal Exchange’s annual academic achievement powwow begins with a grand entry at noon, May 1 on the green space north of the Nebraska Union. The event is to honor Native American high school and college graduates.
Graduates will be honored at 2 p.m.; a community meal begins at 5:30 p.m. in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, with an evening grand entry at 6:30 p.m. All events are free and open to faculty, staff and students.
The powwow is supported by grants from the Pepsi Diversity Program fund and the Office of Student Affairs.
