Poet to read tonight at Andrews Hall

Author Allison Joseph will read from her latest book, Imitation of Life, at 7:30 p.m. April 1 in the Dudley Bailey Library, Room 229 in Andrews Hall.

Joseph teaches at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where she is editor for Crab Orchard Review and director of the Young Writers Workshop, a summer conference for high school writers. Imitation of Life is her fourth book of poems. Her awards include an Individual Artist’s Fellowship in Poetry from the Illinois Art Council and a literary award from the Illinois Art Council.

This reading, sponsored by the UNL English Department and the Creative Writing Program, is free. For information call 472-0993.
