Theatrix sets fall season

UNL Theatre's Theatrix, the student-run second stage, has announced its fall semester season. All performances are in the Studio Theatre on the third floor of the Temple Building.

• Naomi is an original movement-based performance conceived and directed by Naomi Mitarai. It will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 30 and Oct. 2 and at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. on Oct. 1.

• Necessary Targets by Eve Ensler, directed by Cally Hendricks. This production tells of two American women who discover the resilience of a woman's spirit as they delve into the stories behind the Bosnian War. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21 and 23 and at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. Oct. 22.

• Burn This by Lanford Wilson and directed by Jack Carpenter. Through the shared grief of a friend's death, four New Yorkers confront their deepest fears and passions. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 9 and 11 and at 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. Dec. 10.

Mitarai, Hendricks and Carpenter are all undergraduate theatre majors.

Tickets are $5 and are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the door only.
