Filmmaker to appear at Ross screenings

Canadian documentary filmmaker Ron Mann will appear at screenings of his films on Oct. 22 and 23 to discuss his work with the audiences at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center.

Mann's latest documentary, Go Further, which follows actor and activist Woody Harrelson as he takes to the open road on his "Simple Organic Living Tour," runs Oct. 15-28 at the arts center.

During his visit, the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center will feature four of Mann's other films: Poetry in Motion, Comic Book Confidential, Twist and Grass.

Mann's appearance at UNL is made possible with support from the Hixson-Lied Endowment.

Schedules are available at www.TheRoss.org or by calling 472-5353.
