In On Ancient Wings - The Sandhill Cranes of North America, Forsberg will use stories and photographs to describe the making of his book, On Ancient Wings, a five-year personal journey with sandhill cranes through four countries and at 13 locations in North America. Forsberg followed the cranes from the Platte River in the Heart of the Great Plains to their nesting grounds in the Alaska tundra and to their wintering grounds in Mexico and Cuba.
