UNL graduate to sign novel at bookstore
George Shaffner will be signing copies of his latest novel, "One Part Angel," at 1 p.m. March 24 in the University Bookstore. Shaffner is a UNL graduate. "One Part Angel" continues the story of Ebb Nebraska - home of the Corn Palace, the Quilting Circle, the Come Again Bed and Breakfast, and Wilma Porter and her indomitable gang of friends. Shaffner's novel "In the Land of Second Chances," begins the story of Ebb, and was a Book Sense Top Ten pick and a featured selection of the Literary Guild.
