Printmaker to lecture Aug. 31
Yoonmi Nam, assistant professor of printmaking at the University of Kansas, will deliver a public lecture at noon, Aug. 31 in Richards Hall room 218. The lecture is free and open to the public.
Nam is visiting the Department of Art and Art History, focusing on UNL's printmaking area.
Her work is also being show at the Haydon Art Center, 335 N. Eighth St.
Nicholls State kickoff time set
Kickoff for the Sept. 9 Huskers/Nicholls State football game is 12:30 p.m. There will be no television coverage of the game.
Nebraska opens the season Sept. 2 against Louisiana Tech with a 2:30 p.m. start. The game will be televised nationally on Fox Sports Network. Husker games at the University of Southern California, 7 p.m. Sept. 16, and against Colorado, 2:30 p.m. Nov. 24, will be televised nationally on ABC.
Kickoff times and television plans for the remaining games will be announced six to 12 days in advance of game time.
