Don Quixote takes Lied March 2

The five-time Tony Award-winning musical, "Man of La Mancha" plays the Lied Center for Performing Arts on March 2.

Based on "The Adventures of Don Quixote" by Miguel de Cervantes, "Man of La Mancha" is the epic story of knight-errant Don Quixote, his servant Sancho and Dulcinea, the woman of Quixote's dreams.

The tale, set during the Spanish Inquisition, tells the journey of Quixote who sets out to right all wrongs and win the heart of a Dulcinea.

The Lied Center will offer a pre-performance talk 30 minutes prior to show time in the Lied Center's Steinhart Room. The lecturer is to be announced. Seating is limited.

Tickets are $45, $40 and $35. UNL students with a valid NCard and youth 18 and younger may purchase tickets for half price.

For more information, go online to www.liedcenter.org or call 472-4747.
