Producer offers Feb. 22 screening

Academy Award-winning producer Chris Donahue will screen and discuss his latest documentary, "Be Good, Smile Pretty," at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center.

Donahue was executive producer of the film about Tracy Droz Tragos' global journey to know her father 30 years after his death in Vietnam. Lt. Donald Glenn Droz was 25 years old when he was killed in an ambush in the Mekong Delta in 1969. At the time his daughter was 3 months old.

"Be Good, Smile Pretty" won an Emmy Award and the Jury Prize for Best Documentary at the 2003 IFP Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.

Donahue's appearance is sponsored by the UNL College of Journalism and Mass Communications.
