Sheldon Poetry Reading Sept. 21 A reading of prose from "Nebraska Presence: The State of Poetry" is 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery. "Nebraska Presence: The State of Poetry" is published by Backwater Press. The anthology will be available for sale at the reading. The event is free and open to the public. The reading is one of several Sheldon Connections programs offered that promote the individual artist fellowships awarded by the Nebraska Art Council. A panel discussion, 2 to 4 p.m., Oct. 6, will feature individuals who have received individual artist fellowships from the Nebraska Arts Council. The panel will include artists from a variety of disciplines discussing the topic, "Working as an Artist in Nebraska."
