Masters Week activities run to Nov. 10

UNL will celebrate Masters Week, with four outstanding alumni returning to campus, Nov. 7-10.

Masters for the 2007 celebration are: Joe Cooper (class of 1995), manager of East Coast union hourly compensation for the Walt Disney Theme Park and Resorts; Paul Hogan (1985), co-founder of Home Instead Senior Care, the largest senior care company in the world; James Jirsa (1960), professor of civil engineering at the University of Texas; and Warren Leary (1969), science correspondent for The New York Times.

Masters Week, held each fall since 1964, celebrates the work of alumni who have shown promise, success and leadership in their chosen career path. Masters return to campus to interact with students, sharing experiences, visiting classrooms and helping students build successful careers.
