Woodwind quintet plays Kansas City

UNL's Liquid Velvet Woodwind Quintet will give two free performances in the Kansas City metropolitan area Nov. 17-18.

The first performance is 3 p.m. Nov. 17 at Grace and Holy Trinity Cathedral, 415 W. 13th St. in Kansas City, Mo. Its second performance is 2 p.m. Nov. 18 at Village Shalom, 5500 W. 123rd St. in Overland Park, Kan. Donations will be accepted for the Kansas City Community Kitchen.

The quintet is a chamber ensemble made up of undergraduate music majors as part of the School of Music.
