| | CASH TRIO - Performers (from left) Jeremy Wood, Steve Benoit and Scott Stacy perform in "Ring of Fire - The Music of Johnny Cash." The show will play the Lied Center Feb. 5-6.
| Pre-performance talks will be offered in the Lied Center's Steinhart Room 30-minutes before each performance. Laurie Lessman, a performer and vocal instructor, will be the Feb. 5 speaker. Alisa Belflower, senior lecturer in the UNL School of Music, will be the Feb. 6 speaker.
Nearly three years after his death, Cash remains one of the most popular entertainers of all time. In his career, Cash placed 48 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop charts and over 130 hits on the Billboard Country singles chart - more than anyone in history. His autobiography "Man in Black" has sold 1.5 million copies, and Cash's official Web site, www.johnnycash.com, receives more than 9 million hits per day.
Tickets for this performance are $55, $50 and $45. UNL students with a valid NCard, and youth age 18 and younger, may purchase tickets for half price. For more information, go to www.liedcenter.org or call 472-4747.
