Brother to Brother screening at Ross Media Center

Rodney Evans' first narrative feature, Brother to Brother, opening at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center on Feb. 18, is an ambitious drama that explores artistic and personal integrity in a context straddling past and present. Brother to Brother is showing Feb. 18 through March 3.

Filmmaker Evans will be appearing at a 7:30 p.m. screening on Feb. 22 to discuss his work with the audience.

Brother to Brother is a feature length narrative film that follows the emotional and psychological journey of a young black gay artist as he discovers the hidden legacies of the gay and lesbian subcultures within the Harlem Renaissance.

A layered, wonderfully acted, and passionate drama, Pedro Almodovar's Bad Education, opening at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center on Feb. 18, is as fatalistic and as beautiful as any film he has made before. Bad Education is showing at the Ross on Feb. 18 through March 3 and is rated NC-17, by the Motion Picture Association of America.
