NET Radio plays 'Christus,' other holiday favorites

Tune in to classical music performed and recorded on Nebraska's stages by NET Radio. "Nebraska Concerts" will air Mondays at 8 p.m., Dec. 3 at 2 p.m., and Dec.10 at 1 p.m.

On Dec. 3 and Dec. 5, "Nebraska Concerts" features an all-Beethoven concert by pianist Jeffrey Siegel from his appearance this past July at Kimball Recital Hall.

A rare performance of "Christus," the composition Franz Liszt called his "last will and testament," is featured in a special three-hour "Nebraska Concerts" on Dec. 10 and Dec. 12.

On Dec. 19, Lincoln's Symphony Orchestra presents a traditional holiday concert with favorites from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker to popular seasonal compositions both sacred and secular. This program will be recorded the previous weekend at Kimball Recital Hall.
