Sheldon open over break

The Sheldon Memorial Art Gallery will be open for holiday hours, noon to 5 p.m. Dec. 27-30.

Traditionally closed between Christmas and New Years Day, the Sheldon's holiday hours allow visitors to bring out-of-town guests to the gallery.

Exhibitions on display through the holidays are: "The Permanent Collection: Rohman Collection"; "Robert Henri, Marsden Hartley, Representation to 1950, Abstraction to 1950 and Photography to 1950"; and "Singular Expressions: A Sheldon Invitational."

The museum is closed Dec. 24-26 and Dec. 31-Jan. 2. Regular hours resume Jan. 3; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday; and noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
