NET holiday programming begins Dec. 17

NET Television opens a series of holiday specials Dec. 17 with "Ballet Internationale: The Nutcracker" and "On State at the Kennedy Center."

"Ballet Internationale" broadcasts at 1 p.m. on NET 1. "On State at the Kennedy Center: A Holiday Concert for the Troops with Marvin Hamlisch," shows at 10 p.m. on NET2, repeating at 9 p.m. Dec. 21 on NET2.

The NET holiday series continues up to Dec. 25. Highlights of the series include, "On Stage at the Kennedy Center: A Holiday Concert for the Troops with Marvin Hamlisch," "Christmas with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir," "Renee Fleming: Sacred Songs and Carols," "A Pops Holiday Party," and "Christmas in Yellowstone."
